Greyhound Taxi's famous Highland fishing tours take you to several fantastic areas in the Lochaber area to fish, and include sea fishing, brown trout, sea trout, and salmon.

Lochaber provides some of the best fishing in the Highland area, with both the rivers Lochy and Spean being very popular among anglers. Loch Lochy and Loch Ness, which are part of the Caledonian Canal system are also popular venues, and of course Loch Linnhe itself has some amazing sea fishing.

There is ample room in the people carrier taxi for fishing rods and any equipment you may have.

The world famous monster Nessie lurks in the waters of Loch Ness and is possibly one of the most sought after mystical creatures. The Loch Ness Monster always seems to hit the headlines! Loch Ness is the largest and best known of the lochs in the Great Glen. Be careful if you are on one of our fishing tours - there you might just end up catching Nessie herself. So if you want to try you luck at hunting Nessie, we can take you there. Then it's up to you to decide "is Nessie fact or fiction?"

The number of films which have had scenes filmed in Lochaber is incredible. Blockbuster films such as Highlander, Rob Roy, Braveheart and Harry Potter have all had scenes shot in Lochaber. Take in views of Glen Nevis, Ben Nevis, Glencoe and of course the Jacobite Steam Train known to Harry Potter fans as the "Hogworts Express" to see the magic.

The butterfly conservation nature reserve at Loch Arkaig is a beautiful 2-mile nature trail to view some of the local wildlife. Including 2 scarce breeds of butterfly, otters, dragonflies, and maybe even the reclusive Golden Eagle. Enjoy an educational day out or a tranquil afternoon stroll.

Ardverikie Estate at Kinlochlaggan is the setting for the hugely popular televised series Monarch of the Glen.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail was filmed around Glencoe and Castle Stalker.

Local Hero, a favourite with the locals, was filmed on the silver sands of Morar.

Glenfinnan See the Glenfinnan Monument, which was designed by the Scottish architect James Gillespie Graham, and was erected in 1815 by Alexander MacDonald of Glenaladale as a tribute to Bonnie Prince Charlie and his clansmen who fought and died in the cause of the Stuarts. Glenfinnan Station Museum is a restored West Highland Line railway station on the "Iron Road" to the Isles from Fort William to Mallaig. Of course something else to see is the Glenfinnan viaduct made famous by the Harry Potter films. Make this tour appealing to a wide audience.

Spean Bridge - commando memorial and museum :: Glencoe - 38 MacDonalds massacred by the Campbells in this dramatic glen. :: Oban - Provides ferry service to many of the Scottish Isles. :: Caledonian Canal - Neptune's Staircase - A terrific feat of Scottish engineering.

Eilean Donan Castle - Scotland's most romantic castle and one of the most photographed castles in the highlands. Discover the history, see the stunning views, walk on the ramparts and catch whispers in the wind.

Inverlochy Castle the ruins remain from the original castle built in the 1200's. :: Dew of Ben Nevis Whisky Distillery - an Award winning Whisky and a very popular tour.

Skye - Still has very strong links with its history and Gaelic culture, also home to a Greyhound sanctuary.
